***Important Attendee Information

What should I bring?

To ensure a successful event, here’s a list of items to consider and prepare:

  1. Please bring a laptop or notebook for note-taking. 

  2. At least two printed copies of your resume for review and editing.

  3. A business card or digital business card (How to make a digital business card)

  4. What’s your story? Why would someone choose to hire you? What are your strengths and career goals? Prepare your answers so you can confidently share your aspirations when meeting industry professionals. We’ll support you in refining this, but it’s a great idea to start thinking about it now!

What do I wear?

Presentation and proper attire are important, please bring the following:

  1. Sunday evening: Welcome Dinner is elevated casual attire. NO leggings, t-shirts, or gym shorts, but jeans are okay.

  2. Monday: Start the day in interview attire for your updated headshot. (Dark solid colors or whites/creams preferred for headshots.) NO jeans, leggings or baseball hats. You can bring a change of clothes and/or shoes to change into business casual for the evening event. Also bring a pullover or sweater for cooler temps inside.

  3. Tuesday: Wear golf attire and comfy shoes/sneaker. No golf clubs needed!

What should I expect?

Come with an open mind to learn and engage  with people from all ages and industries. Be prepared to bring your BEST SELF to network and make connections that will impact your future and career!  You will get out of it what you put in.

Transportation info

You are responsible for arranging your transportation to and from the hotel upon arrival and departure. Taxi, Uber or Lyft is suggested. All other transportation for the event will be provided. If you have any issues with securing transportation, please reach out to us directly. If you are driving, parking will be available at the hotel. You will NOT need a car once at the event.

Compensation 

A stipend for travel will be given to all the selected participants upon completion of the event via Venmo, Zelle or Check. Double occupancy hotel rooms will be reserved and paid for by the program as well as all meals and entertainment.
