The “Women Who Want to Work in Golf” program has been created for former and current female collegiate golfers, who are interested in pursuing a career working in the golf industry. This program will provide a unique opportunity for education, professional development, career advancement and direct connection to employers.  The program also increases awareness of the availability of talented females looking to enter the golf business. Anyone is welcome to apply for this program, we do not discriminate based on sex, race or sexual orientation

We launched our first event in conjunction with the NCAA Women's National Championship in Phoenix May of 2023, it was a huge success. In November 2023, we held our second "Women Who Want to Work in Golf" event in Braselton, GA hosted by the AJGA. Be on the lookout for our next event in May on the west coast!

The Women Who Want to Work in Golf program in Georgia was the most impactful and inspiring event I have ever been a part of. I felt so blessed to have connected with such a large, diverse group of professionals in the golf industry. Through casual networking at TopGolf, to formal networking at the career fair and during the speed dating style interview questions, I learned so much about how to maximize my strengths and get out of my comfort zone. Understanding how to sell myself set the tone and gave me confidence during interviews after the event.

"The Women Who Want to Work in Golf Event was by far one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve ever been apart of. A few months ago, I was in a position where I was done playing professional golf and trying to figure out my my next steps. I met and networked with many professionals in the golf industry and was able to gain a true insight into what area of golf would fit my skills and passions best. For me, that ended up being college coaching. Now I get the chance to coach at a Division I, power 5 school. I couldn’t more grateful to have been apart of the event and I know it will continue to do amazing things for women that are in my same position!"

"Without networking with two employees at Buffalo Groupe during our the event, I wouldn't have had the chance to talk to someone about this position and how I think my unique background would tie in to the role."
